Sustainable Apple Pomace fermented for feeding animals
Country:
Switzerland
Summary:
Our innovation, developed in CS-Swi, fermented apple pomace, a by-product of apple juice production, to create nutrient-rich animal feed. By fermenting apple pomace, we significantly increase its protein content, offering an eco-friendly alternative to imported cereal-based proteins for animal nutrition. This sustainable approach not only utilizes waste but also contributes to a more circular agricultural economy.
